  • 5-week Smoking Cessation Series
    The Smoking Cessation 5-week Series will prepare you to quit smoking by teaching about issues such as nicotine addiction and weight control, coping with the nagging urges, developing your personal quitting plan and learning relaxation techniques. Sign up today by calling (714) 539-8181.

  • The Journey: Breast Cancer Support Group
    This is a special group for women at any stage of the breast cancer experience, as well as their female family members and friends. This group provides educational information, supportive discussion and embraces vital breast cancer issues and concerns.
    Date: 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month
    Time: Noon - 1:30 p.m.

  • Newly Diagnosed Breast Cancer Support Group
    This group provides support for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and is a place to share feelings, concernsand gain valuable needed information.

    Time: 11:00 a.m. – Noon

  • Women in Treatment (W.I.T.)
    This is a special group for women currently undergoing treatment for cancer. This group provides educational information and supportive discussion.
    Date: 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month
    Time: Noon -1:30 p.m.

    This group provides supportive discussion and educational information for prostate cancer patients, family members and friends.

    This group provides support for adults who have recently lost a loved one to cancer.

    This group provides information and education in a supportive setting for children, ages 6-17 who have a parent, sibling, relative or loved one who has cancer or is dealing with the loss of a loved one. Pre-registration is required, please call

weight loss surgery support groupThe MemorialCare Centers for Obesity have created support groups for those who have undergone a weight–loss surgery. All patients, past and present are automatically linked into this support network. At each of our monthly meetings, we will discuss topics that deal directly with the daily issues that you will face as you travel along the weight-loss journey. These forums cover everything from nutrition and exercise to the latest in fashionable clothing. Group support is also a great way to bring patients together to share their successes.
