Miller Children's Hospital Pediatric Surgery Center
The Pediatric Surgery Center evaluates infants, children and adolescents for the entire range of pediatric surgical problems. These include congenital malformations, hernias, gastrointestinal diseases, genitourinary and gynecologic problems, thoracic lesions, congenital and acquired head and neck lesions and chest wall deformities such as pectus excavatum. The surgeons are university faculty, fully trained in pediatric surgical diseases and both have a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, including a wide range of thoracoscopic and laparoscopic procedures. Including minimally invasive surgical procedures with the latest generation of robotic computer technology, called the da Vinci S Surgical System.
