Safety/Security
The security of you and your baby are very important to us, so we have a number of security measures in place to protect both mom and baby.

One security measure is the mother and baby wrist bands with matching identification numbers. Baby also has one on the ankle, and the partner also receives one. Each time you are separated from your baby, the bands are compared to make sure the numbers match. This is to ensure the right baby is always with the right mom.

Other security measures are color-coded identification badges and secured entrances. An identification badge with a pink background indicates the employee is cleared to be in the post-partum unit with your baby. Labor and Delivery, the nursery, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and postpartum all have secure card readers at the entrance, which requires employees to use their badge to enter and guests to be cleared before entering.
