Memorial Health Services Named Among Top 100 Integrated Health Networks In The U.S.

Memorial Health Services has been named one of the country’s top 100 integrated health care networks. The report was issued by Chicago-based research firm Verispan and published in Modern Healthcare magazine.

Verispan ranks the top 100 networks among the country’s regional, nonspecialty health care systems. The analysis rates each system on clinical and financial performance and measures the degree of integration in several categories, including access, contract capabilities, hospital utilization, services and technology.

Memorial Health Services made the list in 2004 and once again is the only Los Angeles or Orange County health system to make the top 100 list. The system includes: Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Miller Children’s Hospital, Anaheim Memorial Medical Center, Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center and Saddleback Memorial Medical Center.

Memorial Health Services President and Chief Executive Officer Barry Arbuckle, PhD attributes the system’s ranking to a systemwide dedication to top performance and Memorial’s longstanding commitment to health care’s best practices.
