Regular Patient Rooms
Visiting hours in regular patient rooms in non-critical areas are 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. The number and length of visits is at the discretion of the patient's nurse, depending on patient condition and care needs.

Critical Care Units
Friends and family members of patients in critical care units must coordinate visits with the nurse. Two visitors per patient at one time are permitted. If more than two people wish to visit, please take turns. The nurse may ask guests to wait while care is being given or while the patient is sleeping. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to visit. Visitors are asked to call the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) from the Critical Care Waiting Room before coming into the unit. Please ask the nurse before bringing food or gifts into the patient's room; flowers are not permitted.

The Birth Place
General visiting hours in The Birth Place are 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Unlimited visiting hours are provided to fathers/significant others. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to visit unless they are siblings of the newborn and then for only brief visits.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Visitation hours are unlimited for parents and grandparents, except during nurse shift report (5:30 - 7:00 am/pm) and doctors' rounds (9:00 - 11:00 am). Parents will be asked to show their armbands. Only two people at a time may visit at the bedside. Siblings age 3 and older may visit only on the day of admission and on Saturdays and Sundays. Sibling visits will be limited to 15 minutes, once a day, during these times to decrease exposure to harmful germs. A visitor health questionnaire must be completed before the first sibling visit. Friends and family members may also view the baby through the NICU window.
